The opportunity

This is where you come in! - due to growth and client demand, we need a candidate manager to work legal retained searches with one of the most successful search consultants in Australia.  You will be trained to conduct the recruitment process from initial name gathering to conducting the first call - headhunting working closely with your Manager to fill Director to Partnership level practice and commercial, senior legal roles for their clients.  This is an opportunity for you to fast-track your career to "search" level. 

Who you need to be

We are looking for upcoming recruitment search professionals - you may have some end to end recruitment experience as a consultant, and are wanting to move into more of a reverse marketing/candidate management role before moving to a 360 search consultant role. Or you may be a researcher now who is wanting to do more client facing work, however the partner you support does that and your career path has hit a road block.

You will know why you want to "jump" up to search level recruitment and why specialisation makes sense.  You will demonstrate you are a people person, that you can sell to individuals and deal with people more experienced and/or mature than yourself, credibly.  You will know in recruitment rewards do come but hard work comes first.  You must be willing to be a "sponge" and to be trained continuously for 3-6 months.  At least annually you will be flown to London for consultancy training. Working to deadlines and to targets will not phase you as you will know, as many others have shown in this company, that one day you will be a Principal too!  Any knowledge of accounting, professional services, legal or finance will be advantageous.

You will be remunerated well considering it is an entry level search position and a healthy commission is paid quarterly to reward you for any candidate placed, identified by you.  Aside from the monetary benefits you will have a structured career path as many past Candidate Managers have shown.
