This is an exciting new role for our client who is a global search firm focused on finance and legal recruitment. Established in 2002, the company has offices in London, Sydney, Melbourne and Hong Kong serving clients locally, nationally and internationally. They are one of the UK's fastest growing recruitment businesses, and with this growth are hiring at Partner level, a Talent Manager who can take on an operations focus when it comes to hiring, development and performance management of their staff.
Australia based, preferably in Sydney, the role is to grow and develop their teams in Australia, Singapore (new) and HK. This will involve staff attraction and hiring, staff training, development and performance management, as well as identifying new sectors and market opportunities. There will be a small billing component.
Who you are
You will be a highly experienced and credible recruiter preferably in the legal or finance space locally. You will have a personal brand and network which will assist you to attract and hire quality staff. You will also be experienced in mentoring and coaching others as well as be able to roll out structured training to ensure a disciplined search process is adhered to. The staff will report to you with a dotted line to their Sales Partner who will be managing the sales pipeline and subsequent assignment delivery. The current client base lends itself to new service lines such as moving into insurance and/or actuarial and you will be responsible for these start up divisions.
This will be an exciting, and busy role, for the right person. A significant base is on offer to attract this person, as is a rewarding bonus scheme. Travel will be involved. This role is pivotal and will be hired at Partner level.
