Our clientOur client is a team of experienced recruitment leaders financially backed to build a best of breed, stable, collective of recruitment companies. Founded in the UK they already have 8 joint ventures in place - backing highly successful recruiters to build their own brands, providing them with capital to do so, platform, support and autonomy. Unlike other models, these joint ventures (JVs) are offered attractive salaries, their own tailored commission schemes and equity. Now opening in Australia we need the Country Manager to roll out the business, and model here.
Reporting to the CEO in the UK, your role will be to build the business here. Located out of Sydney or Melbourne, you will put in place the business structure and back office to provide the platform for the individuals, teams and brands you will build. You will then scope the market and identify the JVs, managing the commercial terms to bring them on, bed them in and then mentor them to success. The aim is to build the JV business consistently over the next 3 years as well as identify acquisitions. This is a platform, people, performance role.
Who you will be
You will be a recruitment leader who has preferably managed a national, multi-sector business as this role will require you attracting and acquiring recruitment businesses nationally and across sector. This role will suit a sales based leader who knows the recruitment landscape and can build solid relationships with the JVs. You will have started businesses before and know what is required to put a back office platform in place. You will have had experience in mergers and acquisitions, not just hiring, to understand putting in commerical terms around equity and performance metrics. You will love coaching and mentoring others, ensuring your support means the JVs maximise the benefits of this model.
The role is paying an attractive base salary with up to 30% as an annual bonus on hitting KPIs around successful JV integration and acquistion.
